The main objective of Rotary Radio UK is to promote the good news of Rotary locally, nationally and internationally whilst at the same time providing an entertaining mix of music across all the genres.
The main objective of Rotary Radio UK is to promote the good news of Rotary locally, nationally and internationally whilst at the same time providing an entertaining mix of music across all the genres.
The station has been broadcasting 24 hours a day since October 2018 and is run entirely by volunteer Rotarians who contribute many thousands of hours to keep the station running. The cost of running the station is between £2,500 and £3,000 per year. Our main expenses being rent, insurance, licences (as we attract more listeners, so our licence costs increase) and studio equipment. We have been funded and supported by Rotary and in particular District 1120, but also Rotary GB & I and various Rotary Clubs.
